A dual threat, as both a football and basketball player, Greg ranks amongst the best athletes ever to wear a GFC uniform.

As a three year all conference and all state football player, Greg played running back and defensive back, and was recognized as an Honorable Mention All-American in 1995.  As a four year starter in basketball, Greg played in four state tournaments and was MVP of the 1996 state tournament.  He sits as the 6^th leading scorer in GFC basketball history with 903 career points.

According to his former coaches, he made it “look easy” on both the football field and basketball court.  He could single handedly change the outcome of any game he was part of, and was a confident, yet humble teammate to everyone he played with.

After graduation, Greg received a football scholarship to attend UND.
