When asked what sets GFC apart from other high schools, he stated, “the history and tradition are un-paralleled compared to any other high school in North Dakota. I still have so much pride in having been a part of such a great school.”

A significant memory of GFC is being a member of the first cross country team to win a state championship in 1998. As a team we worked hard over four years to achieve that goal. It was a great accomplishment and one that I will never forget.

Wade’s advice to current GFC students is to never give up and that if you set goals you can achieve them through hard work and persistence. “The best advise I could give is to invest yourself into the school, support all the programs, have an open mind, and most importantly have fun.”
